Q: What does K.M.T. stand for?
A: K.M.T. is abbreviated for "Kay's My Tutor."
Q: Does my child's learning have to be at certain rigor in order to receive tutoring?
A: No! We tutor ALL children between ages 4 and 11 regardless of current achievement levels.
Q: My child is over the age 11. Can he or she still receive tutoring?

Q: When can we schedule tutoring services?
A: Tutoring is offered in all U.S. states Monday-Friday during the following times:
CST 10am - 7pm
PST 8am - 5pm
EST 9am - 8pm
Q: What are the prices for sessions?
A: Prices are time-based. We offer three tutoring session types: Red Robin, Blue Jay, and Yellow Bird. Red Robin sessions are an hour long, costing $20.00. Blue Jay sessions are 45 minutes long, costing $15.75. Yellow Jay sessions are 30 minutes long, costing $12.00
Q: How do I pay for services?
A: We only accept payments via Cashapp and Venmo.
Q: What happens if my child and I miss a tutoring session?
A: No worries! We just ask that you email us at least 24 hours in advance at kaysmytutor@gmail.com informing us that you'll be missing the session.
Q: I have more than one child. Can they be tutored together?
A: We prefer to give every child their own individual one-on-one tutoring. However, if it is preferred for children to be tutored together, both children will receive the same lesson and must be tutored on the same content. Although tutored together, each child will be charged separately. No more than two children can be tutored at a time.
Q: Is my child safe?
A: We prioritize safety. To ensure that both you and your child are safe, we do not record any tutoring sessions, individual Zoom links are created for each child and family, Zoom links are only sent to the parent's email address, and passwords are required to enter all Zoom meetings. Passwords are only emailed to the parent.
Q: Do I need any software or extra materials for tutoring services?
A: All you will ever need is access to Zoom, an electronic device (i.e., tablet, desktop, laptop), a stable internet connection, a pencil, and paper. We have everything else covered!
Q: What other tutoring services do you offer besides math and reading?
A: We offer lessons in American Sign Language and Beginning Spanish!
